The Texas Stamp Dealers Association (TSDA) has a new show site for the 2021 season. TSDA shows were previously held at the Richardson Civic Center. Effective 2021 the City of Richardson has closed the Civic Center facility to the public. It is anticipated that the Center will eventually be converted into office space for City employees.

This location is at the southwest corner of US 75 and Campbell Road; take Exit 26 from either direction. Show hours are the same as last year (Friday 10-5, Saturday 9-4).

Official 2021 show dates are as follows: April 9-10, June 25-26, August 27-28, December 10-11.

ARTICLE BY BEN TERMINI

Club member Ben Termini has a featured article in the February 2020 edition of the Journal of Texas Philately & Postal History. Ben recounts the poignant saga of a young soldier and his wife during the years of WWII, and how they missed out on "the American Dream," that others may to this day have that experience. Little known, but they too were part of "the Greatest Generation." For Ben, it all began with a visit to "a stamp shop in Arlington, TX, [where he] spotted a large brown paper sack full of letters." Little did he know ... A must read.
