The Mid-Cities Stamp Club was founded in 1973 by Ray and Karen Cartier. It is now one of the largest and most active local stamp clubs in Texas. As of April 21, 2021, our membership stood at 96. The club hosts two meetings a month in the heart of the Dallas-Fort Worth area (one in Arlington, one in Euless). Additionally, we have an affiliate club in Granbury, TX., which meets once a month. The club sponsors its' own annual show, known as the Mid-Cities EXPO. Held in the second weekend of November, the show has gained a national reputation as a collector-friendly stamp show and exhibition forum. Feel free to come and visit one of our monthly meetings. Open to stamp enthusiasts of all ages.
Arlington meetings are held the first Wednesday of each month. Meetings are held at the Bob Duncan Community Center, located at 2800 South Center Street in Vandergriff Park. Meetings start at 7:30pm but many members arrive early for trading and socializing. Following a brief business session, there is usually an auction or philatelic program.
Euless meetings are held the third Wednesday of each month (no meeting in December) at the Central Station Marketing complex, 12750 S. Pipeline Road, Suite #1C, Euless, TX 76040. Enter from the west side of the Dalworth Clean building. Meetings begin at 7:30pm. The agenda is similar to the Arlington meetings (above).
Granbury meetings occur on the fourth Tuesday of the month, at the Bentwater Activities Center, located adjacent to the Bentwater Marina northeast of Granbury. Directions to Bentwater Activities Center.
Come to one of our meetings and get involved with the hobby of philately !
The library of the Mid-Cities Stamp Club is located at the club's Arlington meeting room in the Bob Duncan Community Center. Members may borrow a volume by simply following the club's sign-out procedure. Books must be returned by the next meeting, or a fine may be levied against the borrower. The library's holdings include a recent set of the Scott Standard Postage Stamp Catalogues.
Members have the opportunity to dispose of their duplicate stamps by mounting them in booklets which are circulated at club meetings and on approval. Sales circuit books from the American Philatelic Society are also available at meetings.
Two (2) auctions per calendar year will be held at both the Arlington and the Euless locations. Arlington auctions are held in May and September. Euless auctions are held in (tentatively) March and July. The Granbury club also sponsors occasional auctions. These auctions provide members an opportunity to dispose of their duplicate or excess philatelic material. Members should turn auction lots in during the month prior to the month of the auction.

Occasionally, the club organizes a field trip to an area postal facility, a stamp show, a first day ceremony, or other events of philatelic interest.
Annual dues for continuing members are $12.00 for individual adults, $6.00 for additional adult members in the same household as an individual adult member, and $4.00 for youths. Dues for new members who join after the July/September quarter will be prorated on a quarterly basis.
