Dues are Due: That’s $12 for a regular membership, $6 more for a family member (at the same address). It’s $22 for a mailed newsletter, and, if you’re feeling generous, $25 for a sponsor membership. Thanks in advance.
Arlington Spring Auction: We will have our first Arlington club auction in April. Lots (or at least the auction sheets) should be turned in at the March meetings. Heavy and bulky items (like albums and boxes) should be kept until the auction, but please provide Skip with the auction sheet so they can be properly advertised. As a reminder, each club member is limited to ten lots. Sometimes some extra lots can be submitted, but this is usually at the last minute.
Arlington Meeting Location - Beginning in March, Arlington meetings will be held at Trinity Unity Methodist Church, 1200 West Green Oaks Blvd. Our meeting room will be 201 (the Koinonia room, upstairs). The church serves a dinner on Wednesday night for $8 beginning at 5:00 P.M, and we will try that to see if it meets our needs. We will also begin our meeting at 6:30 P.M, as we need to end by 8:30 P.M. Additional details will be in the March meeting notice for Arlington.
We will meet at the Bentwater Activities Center, 1800 W Emerald Ct, Granbury, TX, adjacent to the Bentwater Marina northeast of Granbury. The regular meeting begins at 7:00 pm, but the Center should be open from around 6:00-6:15 pm to allow for room setup and member trading and socializing. Directions to Bentwater Activities Center .
Ordinarily when we have an in-person meeting, we also have a MEET'N'EAT at an area restaurant, prior to the meeting. The group usually gathers between 5:00 and 5:30 PM, and we try to finish by 6:45 PM. These gatherings were temporarily suspended due to COVID-19 restrictions but have now resumed.
MEET'N'EAT will be at Palio's Pizza, 3710 E. Highway 377 (across Meander Rd. from HEB), Granbury, 76049, (817) 573-5446, at 5 PM.
