The TSDA award is announced and given to the winner at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 13th, in the Exhibition Hall.
A panel of three APS-accredited judges will be available for evaluating exhibits based on guidelines delineated in the APS’ Manual of Philatelic Judging. The guidelines include coverage of the subject, rarity, condition, presentation, relevance of the material, evidence of research, variety of material and so forth, with some criteria varying according to the type of exhibit. The Chief Judge will be Patrick A. Walters, assisted by Colin Fraser and Yavuz Corapciogliu (replacing Dr. Stephen Washburne who had to bow out last minute due to medical issues) All three judges have previous experience at EXPO.
