Mid-Cities Stamp Club - Arlington Meeting
August 6
The next Arlington meeting for 2025 will be held on Wednesday, August 6.
The program will be Philatelic Adventures in Paris, presented by Geoff Owen.
APS Books will be available at the meeting - this month's circuit books include:
Sweden & Norway (M/U), Cuba - 7 pp. (1875-1972, M/U), Portuguese Colonies (esp. Macao), US - Early 20C covers (mostly advertising), Great Britain - 8 pp. platted #33, remainder up to #300 Used, French Offices, French Territories,
British Asia, US - Revenues (8 pp. Wine stamps),
and several other countries. Check it out !
APS Books from last month's circuit will also be available at the meeting:

This in-person meeting will be at our official gathering place: Bob Duncan Community Center in Arlington, located at 2800 South Center Street, Arlington, TX 76014, in Vandergriff Park (MAPSCO 97A).
The regular meeting begins at 7 pm; however, the room is usually available as of 6 pm.
Ordinarily when we have an in-person meeting, we also have a MEET'N'EAT at an area restaurant, prior to the meeting. The group usually gathers between 5:15 and 5:30 pm, and we try to finish by 6:45 pm.
MEET'N'EAT is at David’s BBQ, 2224 W. Park Row, Arlington, (817) 261-9998, beginning about 5:00 P.M.

Mid-Cities Stamp Club - Flower Mound Meeting
August 20
The next Flower Mound meeting for 2025 will be held on Wednesday, August 20.
The program for this meeting will be an extended Show and Tell, along with philatelic discussions by our membership.

Arlington Auction in September: final call for auction lots for the Arlington September Auction. This is to allow time to organize and advertise the lots ahead of the September Arlington meeting. Maximum of ten lots per person.
Meeting Location: We will meet at the office of club member Sai Madhavapeddi, 3020 Corporate Court, Suite 400, Flower Mound, TX 75028. The sign on the office says Step Up Sports Medicine, and it is in a corporate park just east of the Texas Health Orthopedic Surgery Building in north Flower Mound. Access can be had from either Long Prairie Road (FM 2499) or College Parkway, via Corporate Drive. The regular meeting will begin at 7:30 P.M., however the room will be open around 7:00 P.M.
MEET'N'EAT will be at Bari’s Pizza & Pasta, 3472 Long Prairie Rd., Flower Mound (972) 426-2956, beginning about 5:30pm.

The next Granbury meeting for 2025 will be held on Tuesday, August 26.
MCSC member Les Barton will speak on Wells Fargo Frank - Stamps & History.
There will be a round of Show and Tell preceding the program.
Arlington Auction in September: lots should be turned in by the August Arlington meeting. This allows time to organize and advertise the lots ahead of the auction in September.

We need philatelic donations for the Granbury EXPO Mystery Box.
We will meet at the Bentwater Activities Center, 1800 W Emerald Ct, Granbury, TX, adjacent to the Bentwater Marina northeast of Granbury. The regular meeting begins at 7:00 pm, but the Center should be open from around 6:00-6:15 pm to allow for member trading and socializing.
NOTE: MEET'N'EAT will be at Palio’s Pizza Café, 3710 E. US Highway 377, Granbury, beginning at 5:00pm.
