Mid-Cities Stamp Club - Flower Mound Meeting

April 15

The next Flower Mound meeting for 2026 will be held on Wednesday, April 15.

The program for this meeting will be our usual Show and Tell. Show and Tell will be followed by philatelic discussion.

APS Books will be available at the meeting as well as the club sales books.

New Venue for Arlington - starting in March, Trinity Unity Methodist Church, 1200 West Green Oaks Blvd. Our meeting room will be 201 (the Koinonia room, upstairs). The church serves a dinner on Wednesday night for $8 beginning at 5:00 P.M, and we will try that to see if it meets our needs. We will also begin our meeting at 6:30 P.M, as we need to end by 8:30 P.M. Additional details will be in the March meeting notice for Arlington. NOTE: We have been informed the church does not serve a dinner during the summer months, so Arlington meetings we will be reverting back to selected restaurants for June, July, and August for MEET'N'EAT.

Meeting Location: We will meet at the office of club member Sai Madhavapeddi, 3020 Corporate Court, Suite 400, Flower Mound, TX 75028. The sign on the office says Step Up Sports Medicine, and it is in a corporate park just east of the Texas Health Orthopedic Surgery Building in north Flower Mound. Access can be had from either Long Prairie Road (FM 2499) or College Parkway, via Corporate Drive. The regular meeting will begin at 7:30 P.M., however the room will be open around 7:00 P.M.

Ordinarily when we have an in-person meeting, we also have a MEET'N'EAT at an area restaurant, prior to the meeting. The group usually gathers between 5:15 and 5:30 pm, and we try to finish by 6:45 pm.

MEET'N'EAT will be at Alforno’s Italian Kitchen, 2260 Morriss Rd., Flower Mound, beginning around 5:30pm.

Mid-Cities Stamp Club - Granbury Meeting

April 28

The next Granbury meeting for 2026 will be held on Tuesday, April 28.

The program is to be presented by MCSC member Les Barton, on Collecting the Confederacy.

Show and Tell There will be a round of Show and Tell preceding the program.

APS books will be available at this meeting, if received in time.

Mystery Box: Keep in mind that we (always) need donations for our club EXPO Mystery Box.

Meeting Location: We will meet at the Bentwater Activities Center, 1800 W Emerald Ct, Granbury, TX, adjacent to the Bentwater Marina northeast of Granbury. The regular meeting begins at 7:00 pm, but the Center should be open from around 6:00-6:15 pm to allow for member trading and socializing.

Meet'N'Eat will be at Palio’s Pizza Café, 3710 East Hwy 377, Granbury and will start around 5:00 PM.

Mid-Cities Stamp Club - Arlington Meeting

May 6

The next Arlington meeting for 2026 will be held on Wednesday, May 6, at our new meeting place (see below).

The program will be a video presented by MCSC President Rick Howell, on Collecting Auxiliary Markings.

APS Books will be available at the meeting, courtesy of Dave Stockbridge. Club books will also be available.

Mystic catalogs are needed for the Beginners table at Expo. Skip Ely advises that they make excellent instructional guides for beginning collectors.

We will meet at our NEW official gathering place: the Trinity Unity Methodist Church, 1200 West Green Oaks Blvd. Our meeting room will be 201 (the Koinonia room, upstairs). The meeting will begin at 6:30 P.M., and end at 8:30 P.M. We have to vacate the facility by 9:00 P.M.

MEET'N'EAT will be at at the church, beginning at 5:00 P.M. From the south entrance, this will be in the Fellowship Hall (gym), and the cost will be $8. The menu is Beef enchiladas with chili con carne sauce, rice, refried beans, dessert. Possibly a salad bar as well.
