The The Mid-Cities Stamp Club, now in its 36th year, is one of the largest and most active local stamp clubs in Texas. MCSC counted 141 members as of October 19, 2011. The club hosts two meetings a month (one in Arlington, one in Irving) in the heart of the Dallas-Fort Worth area. We also have an affiliate club in Granbury, TX., which meets once a month. More.

The program for the December 7 Arlington meeting is the Annual Christmas Party. The meeting will be held at the Bob Duncan Community Center, 2800 S. Center Street in Vandergriff Park (Mapsco 97A), with the room being available around 6pm, and the buffet line starting around 7pm. Beginning around 8pm we will play Shainghai Bingo. To play Shanghai Bingo, we ask that each member and their guests bring three philatelic-type items in plain envelopes or boxes (wrapped is OK, too). Each gift should be in the $3-$5 value range.
There will be NO Irving meeting for December. Next Irving meeting will be Jan. 18, 2012.

The first Arlington meeting for 2012 will be held on Jan. 4th. The program for this meeting is the annual Clean Out Your Closet. The meeting will be held at the Bob Duncan Community Center, 2800 S. Center Street in Vandergriff Park (Mapsco 97A), at 7:30pm (with meeting room available from around 6:30pm).
The first Irving meeting for 2012 will be held on Jan. 18th. The program for this meeting is the annual Clean Out Your Closet. Mixture pick will be a US Mix. The meeting will be held at the at Garden & Arts Center at 906 Senter St., Irving. (From 183 (the Airport Freeway), go south on O’Connor until it dead end’s at 6th St. West. Turn east a short block and a half, and turn right (south) at the light (Senter). The building will be about a quarter mile south, on the left (set well back from the road). The regular meeting will begin at 7:30 pm (with meeting room available from around 6:30 pm).
Club dues for 2012 are due as follows: $12 for adults, $6 for additional adults in the same household, and $4 for youths (under age 18). A sponsor membership is just $25, which helps to defray the cost of the newsletter, which runs about $14 a year per household. Any additional donation is welcome. The club thanks you for your continued membership.
