MID-CITIES STAMP CLUB - IRVING MEETING

Program will be Clean Out Your Closet, a chance to sell, trade or give away philatelic material. The Mix Pick will be a good Foreign mixture. This meeting will be held at The Irving Garden and Arts Building at 906 Senter Street, three blocks north of Shady Grove Road. Meeting begins at 7:30 pm. The room will be available from around 7 pm.

MID-CITIES STAMP CLUB - GRANBURY MEETING

The program for the January 26 Granbury meeting is our annual "Clean Out Your Closet". Bring some philatelic material to sell, or bring some money to buy, or both. Also, we will have our Annual Stamp Ballot, where you get to indicate your choice for the BEST and WORST stamps the US Post Office released during 2009. The meeting will be held at Tarleton State University"s Langdon Center, in the Rock House (corner of Bridge and Stockton Street) at 7:00 pm.

MID-CITIES STAMP CLUB - ARLINGTON MEETING

The program for the February 3 Arlington meeting is Show and Tell, where you can show and tell about a favorite or unusual philatelic item. Prize awarded for most interesting item. Members may also turn in lots for the Irving March auction. The meeting will be held at the Bob Duncan Community Center, 2800 S. Center Street in Vandergriff Park (Mapsco 97A), at 7:30pm (with meeting room available from around 6:30pm). Ray Cartier will continue a series of brief presentations which take place prior to the regular meetings at Arlington. These start around 7PM at the back of the meeting room, and are designed for those interested in some of the basics of stamp collecting and related topics (including exhibiting). If interested, be there by 7pm. Tonight's topic: Digging into the Scott Catalogue’s Wealth of information.

The program for the April 7 Arlington meeting will be presented by Ralph Poore, on Censors. Also, club members may turn in auction lots for the May 5 auction in Arlington. The meeting will be held at the Bob Duncan Community Center, 2800 S. Center Street in Vandergriff Park (Mapsco 97A), at 7:30pm (with meeting room available from around 6:30pm). Ray Cartier will continue a series of brief presentations which take place prior to the regular meetings at Arlington. These start around 7PM at the back of the meeting room, and are designed for those interested in some of the basics of stamp collecting and related topics (including exhibiting). If interested, be there by 7pm. Tonight's topic: a live demonstration on how to create album and exhibit pages.

The program for the May 5 Arlington meeting will be the semi-annual auction. There will be 82 lots, including some interesting BOB items. Program will be an APS program History of U.S. Postal Service, an informative slide tape presentation on U.S. Postal Service History. The meeting will be held at Tarleton State University"s Langdon Center, in the Rock House (corner of Bridge and Stockton Street) at 7:00 pm.

The program for the June 2 Arlington meeting will be presented by MCSC Director Stanley Christmas, on How the EXPO is Put Together. Auction lots may be turned in for the July Irving auction. This meeting will be held at The Irving Garden and Arts Building at 906 Senter Street, three blocks north of Shady Grove Road. Meeting begins at 7:30 pm. The room will be available from around 7 pm.
