2.  Charity - do we want to promote a charity this year?  If so who?

          Alzheimer stamp is depressing and not colorful or attractive at all. 

3.  No need to charge admission this year.  

4.  What Registration Form Survey Question do we want to ask this year. 

5.  Lessons from EXPO 2007 -General Chairpersons Notes at EXPO 2007

     A.  Get Chairs for TPA Table

     B.  Money Boxes - How many do we need?

     C.  Cancel Seminars - Miserable attendance

     D.  Cancel Unveiling Ceremony - No attendance by public

     E.  Expand time periods on gift certificates at Awards Dinner

     F.  Awards Plaques should have “EXPO 2008”, “Mid-Cities Stamp Club, club logo, date and 
         Award Title.  No more generic plaques.

     G.  No private property sales at Sales Tables.  Everything has to be inside an official
         Sales Books.

     H.  Buy a Portable Chalk Board for Silent Auction.

     I.  Have a “No Change” box in Registration forms (except for e-mail addresses).
 

6.  Suggestions from Irving November 2007 EXPO Debrief.

     A.  Schedule the Awards Dinner ½ hour earlier.

     B.  Hold Seminars in Hall or by Coffee Bar

     C.  Lower the volume of the loud speaker.

     D.  Take member attendance at the Registration Desk.

     E.  Enforce cutoff date for exhibits.
 

7.  Review 2008 Budget line items with Committee and make the following announcements 

    Awards: Ken Aldridge will be Awards Co-Chairperson with John Barrett 

    Cachets: Do we want to give complementary cachets like TEXPEX does?  

    Awards Dinner: Susan needs an understudy to train before she moves the Activities 
                   Committee Co-Chairpersonship in 2009. 

    Publicity:  Joel Dahlin is Co-Chairperson with Jim Camak 

    Security:  We need a Security Chairperson. 

8.  Any other suggestions from the Committee for EXPO 2008.
