Mid-Cities Stamp Club EXPO 2011 Press Release

    The Mid-Cities Stamp Club (MCSC) will hold its 24th  annual EXPO at the Grapevine Convention Center, 1209 S. Main St,  Grapevine, Texas on Saturday, November 12th  (10 am to 5 pm) and on Sunday November 13th (10 am to 4 pm). Parking and Admission is free.

    Twenty-seven stamp dealers and the Grapevine USPS are expected to attend. They are A to Z Stamps, Addicted to Stamps, Alpha-D Stamps, Byron S. Brandt, Carlton Stamps, Castle Stamps,  Crown Colony Stamps, Cunningham Philatelics, D & P Stamps, D.K. Enterprises, David Alex, George Watkins Stamps, Joe Lambert, Jamie Schwartz, Ken Kerruish, Melvin Edmonds, Oceanview Stamp Company, Oklahoma Stamps, Park Cities Stamps, R.J. Peed Enterprises, Stamp Center of Texas, Sterling Stamps, The Right Stamp Co, The Stamp Connection, PSAG, Inc, Warren H. Crain, W. H. Burdick and the US Postal Service.

     A cachet and special USPS cancel promoting "Pets that Serve" will be available during the show for $2.00. The MCSC cachet has a photo of a service dog by its owner's wheelchair.  The cancel shows a service dog profile looking at the "Owney, the Postal Dog" stamp issued July 27, 2011

    Three service dogs organizations will be participating in EXPO 2011 with informational tables and one or more of their service dogs.  They are the Texas Hearing and Service Dogs, Patriot Paws Service Dogs and the Service Dog Project, Inc.

   Once again, the MCSC EXPO will have 60 easel frames of informative and interesting exhibits and an Awards Dinner Saturday nig
